I experienced NO problems.
I had just bought the truck and was replacing all the "tune-up" items and didn't like the existing crappy leaky PCV valve connection. As it turns out, Ford does sell a replacement updated hose assembly for $40+/-. The ziptie can be cut, the hose assembly pulled apart (leaving the long black plastic tube inside the intake), then cut the same ziptie connection on the new assembly and pull it apart. Reconnect the existing black plastic tube inside the intake with the new PCV tube/clip assembly and re-install the ziptie.
