It's just my opinion but sometimes you gotta pay for something if you want it to look good. when i was looking for my box, i thought the same questions you did. I thought about painting the diamond plate professionally. but when it came down to it, sometimes it's just easier to pay the money for what it is you honestly want. Because if you want a good looking black low profile box, it's probably gonna cost about 400 bucks. But you're gonna love it. I love mine.
