Re: Options to Diagnose P0302
Your pictures are pretty small, so it's hard to tell. The color looks ok, and doesn't seem to be fouled. Although if I had to guess, that gap looks a little big...it should be around 0.046". Too small or large gap can cause misfires. Other than that, it doesn't look steam cleaned (head gasket issues), so it could be a valve seating issue if compression is low on that cylinder. Check the gap, and if that's fine, check compression. It will tell all.

Sorry about small pics. Using the phone app. Gap tested OK. About .046ish. Pulled plug 1 and is more white/grey where as plug 2 at misfire is more red. Maybe signs of slight oil.. not definite
Just had heads done 30k ago. That would blow..
Going to put a new plug in.. see what happens. Also gave a new coil pack on hand to test that.. only had duralast so if that's it I'll rum it and try to return and get MC or scream in demon

Ended up bring the coil pack.. have a duralast on it but intend to find a MC or SD by the end of the week and return the duralast. I'm also thinking about changing the plugs out? They have about 30k give or take.. thoughts?

Exactly, but that's ALL they had.. so its a temp solution because I know their electrical parts never last. I plan to get a motor craft or screamin demon coil soon and return the duralast soon.. but for now I need my truck
