Hey guys on a 99 Ranger 3.0 theres a round like cap in the rear of the coil pack and it just spins but it also has a 2 wire connector going to it. Does anyone know what its called? Ive tried looking for a pic and this is the best one ive found as you can tell its by the last plug wire the wire goes over the cap

It's the purge flow sensor I believe. Could be purge solinoid.

Ok thats not my problem.. I think I figured out my stalling problem... When I start the truck up it will idle for 3-4 sec then die out and start right back up.. When it is running I hear a loud sucking from the intake area and now it will not run at all.. After looking on the ground around the truck I noticed that the rear intake (cross over gasket) the blue gasket that goes from 1 side to the other side on the rear of the intake where it meets intake and block was on the ground. I think this is my problem with it stalling out

Yeah, gaskets on the ground kinda sucks!
