Default want to buy this 3.0 intake tube but says 98-01 will it fit 02

Hey all, I have a 2002 3.0 I currently have a AEM dry flow with MAF adapter and I'm working on a custom heat shield. I just ordered a 60mm throttle body to do that mod also.. I've been wanting a metal intake tube for quite sometime now, for looks and the larger inner diameter..

And first off I know I know it'll probably or will give no added performance.. but I just enjoy customizing and wrenching on my truck..

So I found this intake kit online

http://www.cosmoracing.com/productin...id=144&pid=615

I'm working on a deal to just purchase the pipe and possibly couplers if the price is right. However it says its for 98-01.. from looks I believe it would fit just fine on my 02, the shape looks correct to me. The only thing that looks different is an extra bung/sensor near the crankcase bypass hose dealio. However it looks like it comes with a cap.

Thoughts?

Looks nice, but you are going to excite the masses. Just remember if you want it, it doesn't matter what they all say, it's your truck in the end.

It's a hell of a lot cheaper than a k&n setup too!

play hard, bog harder!

Yea not looking for power, the 3.0 is what it is. I'm just tired of the dirty ugly stock rubber tube. Its a also tiny inside of it.. which may be a velocity deal. I'm not looking to buy this whole kit. Just the tube. I have an AEM dryflow filter, used to have the modded air box and k&n drop in (which is now for sale!) But I prefer the no oil filter because of dust out here and the k&n oil mucks things up.. which means I clean the maf sensor a lot since I have it nodded also.

Wondering if this will fit though since it says 2001 and earlier.. not sure if there is a different

Forget it, they want $70+$20 shipping. $90 for the tube just doesnt seem worth it at all. Should be able to make my own for less

It's not just the pipe, it's the pipe, filter and the hardware. Not a bad price for just that.

I just got through looking at a Volant kit w/ box and its 240, not bad i thought. Check eBay for Volant cool air intake and it'll come up.

Sorry but you're miss understanding or my initial post wasn't clear. I'm only interested in the intake pipe and nothing else. Contacted the seller for pricing for just the mandrel bent pipe and they gave me $20 shipping and $70 for pipe. I already have an AEM Dry flow filter and MAF adapter and would by couplers separately because they don't sell black. So for $90 for a metal tube that's over priced for me..

Going to try and make one from parts off of silicone intakes .com
