Default Superchip

Has anyone used a superchip tuner on a 3.0 motor.I have 88,000 miles and I am looking for a tuner that will give more power when pulling my 1000 lb Sea Doo Watercraft and maybe allow me to use 87 octane and still have decent power. Yes I know decent power and 3.0 motor dont belong in the same sentence

new U/D pulleys cost about 200 for your motor will add increased hp and torque clean your filter and reoil it as far as a chip for it i think there a waste of money but thats also just my 2 cents is your truck auto or manual. maybe do a tune up 1k pulling should not be a problem at all ass I pull 1k and dont really notice any diff. in pick up. another question is what gearing are you runing in your rearend as that can also make a diff.

yeah I use a Super Chip in my O4, love it! also put in a scan gauge. to keep track of things, I would say go for it, do the air box mod and tow away!
Rob has a good point with the underdrive and tune up and gearing. but changing the gearing will certainly change your fuel mileage, not to mention confusing your speedometer and transmission shift points
