Default Random misfire

I have a random misfire that comes and goes, it seems to affect all the cylinders and it drags the engine down. It seems to happen in the middle of the power band, there are no codes, engine has 203k miles with a alot of new parts including coil pack, wires, and plugs.

Did you position the cam sync correctly? Not to be a smart a$$, but it's easy to get it off a tooth in either direction. Could be the MAF too.

Cam synchro came with an alignment tool and i put it at tdc, the mass air flow sensor is a refurb from advanced auto. I clean it with mass air flow sensor cleaner

Well, the premium gas is a waste of money, but if it makes you feel better...

I was doing some reading online and read that a dying battery or alternator can cause a misfire is the voltage drops below 12v. My misfire started last year before winter when my wifes car had a bad battery and i jumped it with my truck, half way through the jump my truck bogged and idled kinda rough then went back to normal so i never thought anything about it. Ive also read duralast alternators are prone to failure! I have a new duracell battery with 900 cca and a 2 year old duralast alternator. Ill have it tested soon!

Turns out it was a bad gas tank seal and water was mixing with the ethanol in the tank and sinking to the bottom. I fixed it in january, just thought id post an update.
