Hey.. New here and my first post. 2 months ago I bought a 2000 ranger
4x4 3.0 I love it! But now the engine is squealing. Its coming from inside.
I tried your basic stuff. Even ran it with the belt off for a few seconds. There was still a squeal? I have done all I can. I want to stay away from a dealership. Any ideas??

Miles? The 3.0 needs a new cam synchro around 100k....I'd say that's it, and try to stop driving it until you fix it
