Default Need help. blown head gasket? cracked block?

Today while parking my truck (1995 3.0L Ford Ranger) I noticed that the temp gauge was reading just above 3/4 hot. It has been fluctuating between cold and 3/4 lately, but never going over 3/4 on the temp gauge. I turned my truck off and noticed that massive amounts of radiator fluid was spewing on the passenger side w/a little bit of oil and making a hissing sound from some area with pressurized air, which appeared to be right above the intake manifold. I'm not sure exactly where it is coming from but is in that generally area towards the front of the vehicle. I let my truck cool and started it once more and noticed in the same area that bubbly radiator fluid mixed with regular fluid was dripping out at a rapid pace, while making a hissing sound. Could this be a blown head gasket, cracked block or head? There's no fluid or water that appears to be mixed with the oil and no white smoke from the exhaust.I plan to tear through it tomorrow but want to get a good idea on where i stand and how much work will be required, I'm hoping this can be a weekend job :-/.
Thanks,
Sean

I believe it's right above and behind the water pump. Would this be a intake manifold seal or would it be more likely to be something else. It runs off the side of the water pump on passenger side but since i wasn't able to find it with the engine in tact I started pullin' parts to find the exact location and the only obvious spot that appears to be leaking is that area.

I think i found it the gasket on the intake manifold was split so im guessing its coming from there, but i noticed there is a large amount of carbon residue in the manifold, would it be ok to clean this and put it back together? I have 225k miles on this engine and am trying to get it to last another month so i'm able to get my parts truck engine put together with new seals and so forth.

yes clean it and put it back together, there is going to be carbon due to EGR as long there are not large chunks of build up not a problem

Well after all that, its still leaking. Its a little difficult to pinpoint where this leak is coming from, its near the water pump but seems to be above it still, I replaced the gaskets on the intake manifold, but that didn't do any good. I hear a lot of pressurized air spraying out near that area as well. any clue on where this leak may be coming from?

The leak is coming from this general area. All the hoses seem fine, the gasket around the water pump is fine. thermostat also seems fine.

I found the leak, its coming from I guess the timing chain housing (behind the water pump), but according to hanes i need to remove the oil pan. To remove the oil pan the book says I need to remove the engine. are there any short cuts in this? Or am i going to have to pull the whole engine in order to replace that gasket?
