Default 3.0 Starting Problems

I have an 01 Edge 3.0 that overheated. It heated up to the point where one of the spark plug wires caught fire. I fixed the coolant leak that caused the overheat and replaced the plugs and wires. Now it won't start. It turns over and has spark, but no fuel. I checked the inertia switch, but that wasn't the problem. Any ideas?

check relays, fuses, anything electrical that has to do with the pump. then i would test the fuel pump make sure that you are getting power to it. if it has power to it than your pump went out...shit happens. ive never heard of a plug wire catching fire from overheating. pretty crazy.. ive seen a plug wire catch fire from the exhaust manifold!

Welcome to the 01 Edge Scratch your head club.

Longs shot, but when you turn the key, do you hear your fuel pump?

I have determined that most mechanical / electrical challanges are directly connected to the nut that connects the steering wheel to the drivers seat.
