Default 3.0 Engine stumbles?

Hi Guys,
Very new to this fourm and don't see my exact problem.
Ihave a 2004 ranger edge and the engine stumbles a bit when you press on the gas such as start off fm. a stopsign/light.
It does in park or drive, dont matter?
Iput new plugs in and a fuel filter and a T.P.S. but no luck yet?
Anyone know how to check the coils, could they be bad?
I think I also changed the plug wires.

Check for vac leaks too...could have a small leak causing it.

Check the MAF and MAF sensor also.

Probably a small vacuum leak. Spray carb cleaner around while it is idling and listen for speed changes. Check the PCV elbow too. Dirty MAF can also cause this; it may be a good idea to clean it anyway. Ensure spark plugs are gapped correctly; these motors don't like to be out of spec by much. Make sure the plugs are Autolite or Motorcraft. Doesn't sound like a coil pack issue to me, it wouldn't be just at idle.

What makes it more fun on these vehicles with mechanical fans is when you aren't thinking, and spray from the side and the fan blows it into your eyes. Not that I've done that or anything...

Hello again guys,
I sprayed carb cleaner around with engine running and no rise in rpm.
I did find the hose from appx. middle of air cleaner tube to throttle body, was loose at the valve cover(left side while facing engine)up in front close to you. but it didn't help the stumble any.
It seems to be only when engine is nice and hot? I took a closer look and saw the plug wires are motorcraft so they have not been changed yet,is there a set ohm reading to check the condition of them?

There are specs for them, but if you suspect it may be them, go ahead and do a full tune up anyway. You said in your first post that you thought you had changed your plug wires, now they may be the originals? That's usually the first thing I do if a car is having trouble running correctly and the ignition components look old is a full tune up. Rock Auto has a complete wire set for less than $10. Just replace them.
