Question Alternator ?
So i did the water pump on my truck now my battery light is on i assume its my alternator because i removed it. its charging but my light is on for some reason. Any one know what this would be ? All my frame ground straps and hood straps are rotted out if that has any thing to do with it i have no clue what the ground straps do. they have been rotted/broken for 2 years now.

1998 Cab plus 2wd 236000 kms 3 inch Lifted Ranger/B-Series sitting on 31s, 5 on the floor hurst short throw shifter , 3 point oh V6 No a/c, no power windows/locks , Alpine headunit , Alpine 500 watt mono amp , Clarion 10 inch sealed subwoofer.

If you have a multimeter you can test the alternator from the battery . Google it . Look for YouTube videos .

Replace the ground straps regardless if thats not the problem, but it could most likely be.

it never did it before though and they have been gone for two years. also i can find any at local parts stores. any way i can make some ?
