Default Can Not Locate The CMP on my 2000

Is it at all posable that my 2000 3.0L V-6 does not have a camshaft position sensor / synchronizer? If it does have one, where is it? Do I have to dismantle the top side of the motor to find it? This is the 3.0L FFI. Trail Head 2X4 package with California emissions. I have the Hyanes guide but the pictures do not match my engine.

On 2000 3.0 the camshaft position sensor is located on the backside of the intake manifold.
