Default Higher idle than before! :(

I had posted this a while back at RF and didn't get it figured out so I have been dealing with it... But recently my truck has been idling higher than before. It will be fine until I have drove around a while.
When letting out the clutch it will idle at 3k to 4k rpms. If I come to a complete stop it will start to drop then if I let it set for about 1-2 minutes it will drop down to about 900 rpms.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

From previous post:

I have searched and read most if not all the threads about the "high idle" issues others have had. BUT....
I have checked many many times for vacuum leaks... NONE.
I put in a new fuel filter.
I cleaned everything from the air filter to the throttle plate.
I cleaned the MAF with MAF sensor cleaner.
I replaced the IAC valve.
I've tested the TPS with a volt meter and seems fine.
I replaced the driver side O2 sensor cause one wire was hanging by a single strand of wire and the others were almost cut off too. (idk how that happened. lol).
I replaced the DPFE, and EGR valve. (to get rid of EGR codes).
I just put new plugs and wires on.
No change but all three spark plugs on the driver side were worn down, burned up. (idk what to call it). And the wires that go to the right front and right middle (the longest wires) were burned up a bit from the EGR tube.
Here is a pic of them in order as if standing in front of the truck looking at the engine.

I don't know what caused this nor do I know what else to do about the idle.
I just rolled over 140k miles and these spark plugs were put in somewhere between 60K and 80K miles.
I have a P0133 and a P0171 code coming up.

I don't have much money although I've spent plenty on the new parts anyway. But I'd really like to fix this myself.

Mine idled way too high when my exhaust was coming loose. My Y-pipe had at least one loose bolt at all three ends...Put a new gasket where it connected to my exhaust pipe and tightened the rest of the bolts and put locking washers on them. Now it idles fine...Not saying this is the problem, but wouldnt hurt to check your exhaust/Y-pipe before the cat (or muffler if you dont have a cat) for holes or loose bolts.

Could a leaky exhaust (whether its down in the pipes or at the block) really cause this?
I guess I will check it out...

Happened on my 95 4.0. We took the exhaust off when dropping the trans to replace the clutch. None of the bolts were tight...He said it was probably from the rattling loose from my system. So we put locking washers on it and havent had the problem since...Mine was also Idling at 1500-2500....not 3-4k

Its worth checking...its free and if you do have holes in your Y-pipe they have that temp fix wrap that is pretty cheap...if that fixes it, then you know you need to look into a new Y-pipe/exhaust.

UPDATE....
Well it finally started to get nice out and I had some time to go out and look at my engine.
I found a broken bolt on the exhaust manifold. I can't tell if it is leaking there or not but I'm guessing probably.
How would I fix this on the cheap?
Thanks
