Rough idle at low rpm. No check engine light.
Hey everyone. I have been having a rough idle at low rpm for as long as I have owned the car. I bought it 2 and a half years ago with 34k miles. Now has 85k. I noticed it a few days after I bought the car. It idles rough at 500-700 rpm. Feels like there is a miss fire I have been told by a mechanic and a couple friends but I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Otherwise it runs fine and iv never had it shut off on me but it has bogged down to 100-200 Rpms a few times. There is no check engine light. I figure it will be fine for a few more years but I just don't want it to lead to bigger problems down the road.
This is what I have done for the rough idle.
Changed spark plugs and wires with proper gaps.
New mass airflow sensor when it went bad on its own.
Compression is great according to mechanic.
Sea foam treatment.
Any ideas on what I can do?
Iv read it can be sticky valves but that's expensive to fix.
