What could be killing my battery
Ok I think my truck has 2 problems or just 1 causing muliple things to go wrong. I know something is up with the fuel pump or either the relay or reset button for the pump. Could something be shorted out in the fuel pump system causing this? I went to autozone and checked the starter, alternator, and battery and they are all good. Any ideas?

Enough to get it to slowly turn over but the it clicks. I replaced the starter a few weeks ago and checked it yesterday and it is still good.

Re: What could be killing my battery
The woman at autozone could be wrong because she gave me the wrong relay I just found out. Thats what I get for going to autozone I guess.

Oh god, advanced where I live does their part to hire the mentally challenged. I knew some people who worked in there who didn't know up from down. I once went in there to get the codes checked on my truck and the mass air flow codes came up. They tried to tell me the fuel lines were clogged and I needed to buy some sea foam. I stared at him for a second then said that was all I needed to know and walked out. Not the most trustworthy place around here. Oreillys FTW.

Re: What could be killing my battery
do you have a voltmeter? if the answer is yes then by now you should have done the .... test the alternator .... get the truck running, then turn on all the lights, radio/stereo heater, and anything else you can think of. then check to see how many volts you are charging at... then check to see what you battery is reading. this will give you a start to know if you are charging. don't rely on other places to do thid for you. it is more in there interest to sell you stuff, even if you don't need it.

Re: What could be killing my battery
Load test your battery. If it checks out pull the fuse for your stereo. I have seen stereos short out more then any other component. There is also a way to test for a short but I can't remember right now. Google it and you should come up with it.

Re: What could be killing my battery
What makes you think there is something wrong with the fuel pump circuit? All you've described here is a straight forward run of the mill dead battery or bad connection to the battery.
