its weird my engine is super sluggish like it is only running on a 4-5 cylinders. if you unplug the 4th cylinder wire from the coil pack it doesn't change the way the engine idles very much. same thing with the 5th. i also tested the wires with a basic multimeter and those specific 2 wires read about 11.5 while the others read around 8-8.5 sould i try changing the wires or should i go coilpack or both?

try changing the plugs and wires first. A new coil pack runs about 90$, but 40$ worth of plugs and wires might fix your problem. Works backwards to save money.

If the plugs and wires don't help it, try the coil pack.
