When ever i put my ranger in park, for some reason the engine will slight rev up then make a clicking noise. Then it will reset and make a normal noise. But 30 seconds later it will do the same. Also when I'm driving and I have my radio off and the window down I can hear it making the same clicking noise about every 5 minutes. Sorry I am not the best at describing this noise. I'm not really that car savy. Can you please tell me if this is a bad thing or something that's not bad. Also I think I have an exhaust leak. Would that have anything to do with it? Definitely wait for a second opinion because I'm not too car savvy either, could possible be a worn u-joint though. Sounds pretty consistent.
