The best average on a tank I have ever gotten was around 19 mpg with my 3.0 auto. Mostly highway driving and being easy on the gas pedal

I got 27 once. 100% highway, 60 mph, and no ac. I usually average between 23-24 but my driving is probably 80-90 % highway.

Wow. That is amazing. I would blame my bad gas milage on me haveing 4x4 with the 4.10 axle. Lol hopefully if I get a tune up my mpg might increase by a tad.

If I try I can manage 22-24 same as everyone but 15-17 is more realistic for me. 3.73s with big tires/4x4ext cab doesn't help.

U don't need one. When u fill up, set the trip meter to 0. When u fill up again, divide the number on the trip meter by number of gallons put in the truck. Boom, $60 saved
