lol, i dont mind it, i admire the enthusiasm you have on these issues lol. if i did stuff like you did for a living i probably would answer in similar fashion lol, but i do climate change and environmental stuff, so i take those personally lol.

the 3.0 already has a CAI stock why change it. it works just fine. i mean you could get a CAI and dyno it and see but i would be very dobutful if you saw little to any gains. this all reminds me of the torando air mgt. system the little cicrle you put in your intake and it spins the air. OH and the throttle body spacer both of those offered better mpg and power and turns out they are worthless. just expensive paper weights. if you want a gain in power try 1:7.1 roller rockers and a free flowing exhaust system and you will get a better increase in power and torque.

You could duct tape a gas powered leaf blower to the intake and call it a super charger?

somewhere i saw a dyno test of those "electric superchargers" years ago, maybe on streetfire, iirc the fan spun so slow it actually restricted the intake and caused a loss of power, also on streetfire i once saw video where they dyno tested a chevy astrovan or something similar with a leaf blower crammed in the intake, that was fun to watch

i saw the one where they do it to a focus i think, if only they had mini leaf blowers i could put on my engine i might finally top 75 mph

the downside to them is unless you have some type of swtich on it that when when drop below a certian rpm the electric blower will slow down or your ECU is going to have problems with trying to adjust for an air/fuel ratio that is way outta wack they can adjust only so much so you would be running rich when crusing and more than likely at idle cause you are only going to have the same amount of cfms getting compressed into the motor. so think your maf will hate you!!!
