Default coolant system problem need help

I have a 94 ranger 3.0 manual trans. I had leaks around the water pump so I'm going to go ahead and replace the entire cooling system because it seems to be all origional. When I took the hoses off I found more problems. Where the 2 hoses from the heater core connect to the water pump and to the thermostat had all been corroded and broke off. the water pump connection is no problem to fix because it is attached to the new water pump, but I am having a terrible time trying to find the "L" shaped fitting that screws in next to the thermostat which the second heater hose attaches to. I have to replace it because a hole has formed around the neck where the hose would clamp on. Does anyone have an idea of where i might find one or another option?

I had the same problem. Not even ford has the elbow hose fitting. I got one from the junkyard. Havnt put it on yet. At the moment I got a straight hose fitting, just puts a lil bend in the hose but still flows. My suggestion is go to the junkyard and hopefully find a good one. Or you may be able to have a machine shop make one or do it your self.

I bought mine at Stealership. Ran about $25.

I just took part in and told them I needed it. Don't think they even had a name for it.

you all are not lying there. I did end up finding it at the tropical ford dealership in orlando. It was 25 dollars and surprisingly enough they had it in stock. it was an elbow fitting for the heater hose part #N808344-S101. I got the part installed it went to install the thermostat housing and the bolt broke off in the manifold so now I have another project to keep me busy. Thanks for all the input it was helpfull!
