Default Cam Synchro?

So ever since I bought my truck it had a small shimmy at idle. On tuesday it got noticeably worse, and today I noticed some light chirping and some a little bit of a bucking motion when accelerating. Would the Cam Synchro cause all these symptoms?

Yep, the bucking especially. It's listed under the factory recall.

I've been checking Pep Boy's, Auto Zone, and Advanced Auto. But I'm not finding the part any where. Can anyone give me some help?

Did you try O' Reileys or napa? If not you can always get one from any ford dealer with a service center

Well I replaced the syncro and the sensor with Mastercraft parts. Now my truck seems to lug sometimes at lower RPMs, it doesn't do so if I give it more gas than what is necessary. For instance if I go up a hill at 60mph, and I slowly give it gas to keep up it will seem to lug a bit unless I give it more oomph (not WOT though I'm sure that would work). The good news is I no longer have the death chirp. But I will be using this truck to haul a trailer from Austin, TX to Rochester, NY in a little less than 2 months from now.

they dont call it the 3 slow for nothing.
You can try giving it a tune up with some new plugs, wires, clean MAF, clean idle air control, maybe a new belt.
However, if I am cruising at 60mph when I come up on a hill and I want to remain at 60mph during the climb, my RPMs will have to go up or I will lose speed. got to love and under powered engine.

That's how all combustion engines work, you can't maintain speed without your engine producing more RPMs. Lugging as I described it should not exist unless a person has a manual transmission and doesn't know what they are doing.

Anyway the CEL came on and it calls for a misfire on cylinder 1. Bought a new autolite platinum, and will install it once my engine cools down.
