you could block off the egr and it will be okay, do that untill you can ge a new one, you should be able to fix yours.. use shorter bolts or a larger size if the threads are messed up. or I will send you one of mine but I would need yours back, I paid $80 for mine in great shape will trade you for $50 to cover shipping and them I will have one to repair

I'ld say go for it, if it dont fit, see what 98blownranger would charge to fix yours. I'ld bet he will work with ya. Have you been to the local junk yard? dont just look @ Rangers, alot of Ford vehicles use the 3.0L. Good luck.

Ya I have. I know that the exploder uses the same 3.0 and my local junk yard dose not have any rangers from 95 - 97. But I am going to go and look at some exploders hopefuly this Sunday and if no luck then I am going to have my freind compleetly retap it. He is a machineist

as long as it is a 3.0l ford v6 vulcan it should work.
escapes, rangers, taurus, sable, and aerostar have the same motor. there should be few of those at junkyards even if they dont have rangers go take a look. the newer the manifold the better but if its off a front wheel drive car remember the manifold looks the same but the throttle body faces backwards.
