Default Another Squeaking Noise...

Alright guys, I'm back again.

I posted a few weeks ago about that squeaking noise from my engine. I got the camshaft synchronizer replaced (twice) and the PC reset due to some problems, but now it runs great.

Well, driving today, the squeaking noise is now back. I noticed when I accelerate, the squeaking gets faster.

I drive a 2004 Ford Ranger Edge V6 3.0L with 67k miles on it. Please help... I'm on my last leg with this truck.

probably just your belt. Might want to go ahead and replace the serp belt, idler pulley, and belt tensioner pulley.

dont be on your last leg with it! 67k is nothing!

^^THIS!

Could be the AC clutch but I'd start with belt and pulleys

Thanks for your input! I took this video of my engine and you can clearly here the squeaking.

I hope it is just the belt.

hard to pin point where the squeak is coming from, but I would put my money on the belt and/or pulleys. Should be an easy fix.

If ya hold your mouth right ya can do it without having to take the fan and stuff off.

mouth? what?
I dont take off the fan or anything. I can get them off in like 2 minutes and sometimes it can take 10 or so minutes to get the dang thing over that last pulley.

I'm not going to lie, I'm a loser at auto repair stuff. Ill end up taking it to NTB like I did with my cam syncro a few weeks ago. I really do hope its the belt.

When they fixed the cam, they also replaced the idler pully cause it was lose. Maybe its just the belt now or something
