Wire set $70.00
Spark Plugs $30.00
Fuel Filter $20.00
Transmission Filter $20.00
Air Filter $15.00

Spark plugs I would suggest motorcraft or autolite.

Would really help to know what size motor you have and what year your truck is.

EDIT: Oh shit we're in the 3.0 section.

If you bought the truck used, and previous owner can not prove a tune up was done recently. Yes It is worth it.

Or if you have had the truck since new and has over 50K miles yes it would also be a good idea.

Picked mine up from an auction with 161k on it. New wires, plugs, and fuel filter coming up. Did a tranny and oil change last week.

A tune up costs as much as you replace, and the quality of what you replace it with. Whether or not it will help, it couldn't hurt (unless you do it wrong). Whether it will fix problems, that's something usually realized as you're replacing things, and can see the condition with your own eyes.
