Default Cam Bearings in 3.0

So i have a '99 3.0 that had motor problems and in the rebuild i need to put in new cam bearings, but unlike any other motor (V8's) that i've rebuilt there is no apparent way to get the new ones in. The only way that they seem to be able to go in is to drive them through one of the end holes then into the center two. So how have you guys done them?
