Default Do they make a cold air intake for my ranger??

I cannot for the life of me find a CAI for my 1997 3.0L Ranger. auto sites say they only have em for the 2.3L and 4L '97 ranger...i am into modding my ranger, but how can I when they don;t make parts for it? But i am having a flowmaster put in this weekend.

If you do find one, just make sure it's going to actually be located in a spot that will actually suck cold air.

Does my car already have a cold air intake stock? Or would it do anything to install a performace CAI?

Yes. Your truck already sucks the coolest air from the best location possible.

Now be prepared for 15 people to tell you how "awesome" the "air box mod" is.
It's up to you whether you believe that or not. Personally, I think it's bunk, unless you choose to ignore the laws of physics.

Keep in mind the 98% of the population thinks that eating turkey makes you sleepy, yet it's not true. There are a lot of common misconceptions.

Yes, a "performance CAI" can help, if it's located in an area that's actually going to breathe cold air. Tough to say what kind of gains you'd see from that alone, particularly if you're still running through your stock exhaust.
