oxygen sensor

Check engine light came on i scanned it showed bank 2 sensor 1 ( oxygen sensor) where is it located? I have a 2000 ranger 3.0

You should see it on the down pipe...that is if its the same location as my 99. Its the sensor before the pre-cat.

Btw. I had that check engine light come on as well and it was actually my pre-cat that was messed up. Strange i know

I think sensor 1-1 is on the passenger side, 2-1 is on the drivers side, and 2-2 is behind the cat.

Oh ok thanks i could see the one on passenger side are these easy to change?
