Engine purging coolent
I over heated my 93 3.0 last night.
 Today when I fill the radiator and start the engine with no radiator cap on to top it off it just speews out all the coolent. I have been working on cars for my whole life and have never seen this. First thought is grim, Head gasket? Let me know if there may be something simpler I am missing please, I have little exp with these 3.0's.

Where is it leaking from? The radiator cap hole or somewhere else?

It blew the water pump heater hose last night.
I am starting the engine without the cap so for now its all comming right out there.

Normally when I fill a coolent system I just fill the radiator then start the engine and top it off.

Do a leakdown test on every cylinder and a coolant pressure test to start with.

Bah its wacked. I fixed the hose and fill it up and ran it with the cap on.... coolent running out the exhust. To the Shop she goes!

I've seen that happen before. Bad head or headgasket.
