Default Misfire code, but no misfire

My truck has a misfire code for cylinder 6 but the truck isn't running like it and test show that it's not as well. Every time I clear the code it'll come back of a hour of driving or so. Nothing seems to be effected by it. I'll be checking the plug and comparing it to another plug or two to make sure its not burning too hot, etc.

What I want to know is if there's something that could be going bad to set it off saying there's a misfire like a sensor or something of the such. I've been told the computer could be going out, which i hope its not

It does not have to misfire much to throw the code. I have a van that is doing it and you would never even know it was misfiring, seemed to drive fine until the problem got worst. So far I have tried plugs, wires, fuel injection cleaners, coil. Still getting a misfire. I am not certain yet but I think it comes from a sticking fuel injector. At least that is the next thing I am going to try.

I'm getting the same thing as well. I keep getting the cylinder 5 and 6 miss fire error code every time I plug in the scanner. (P305, 306) I replaced the spark plugs, wires and coil pack and it runs well when it's warmed up but when I fire it up, it sounds like it wants to stall and the whole truck vibrates at idle and gear. I'm going to pull out my fuel injectors and get them cleaned. I'm also going to replace my fuel rail filter.

Have you cleaned and checked the idle air control valve and MAF?

Mine just says theres a miss fire. I'm finally going to hopefully have time to work on the truck tomorrow. Thinking on running the cleaner through the tank and see if that helps with anything if the plug(s) are bad. Could just be the plugs i bought. If not, take it out and get them cleaned
