Wheel bearins and Rotor Replacement!??
Ok so I have taken off both rotors and have put together one of my rotors and is pretty much ready to go back onto the spindle. I have greased the bearings and tapped in the rear seal. Also the new rotors came with races in them. here are two pictures of the old rotor and the new rotor. My question is the piece that has the netting type thing that is on the back of the old rotor, do I need to remove that and install it on the new rotor? Hopefully somebody can shed some light on this!!

you dont have to remove the netting stuff. its part of the rotor itself. are you sure the new ones are the right rotors?

well that's the thing I'm startig to wonder if they are actually the right rotors. But I measured the thickness of the rotor and the diameter and it is the exact same size as my old one.

The new ones are for trucks without abs. If you have abs, you got the wrong rotors

well that's just awesome then! (lol) I do have ABS, so here is another question then, do I have 4 wheel ABS or 2 wheel ABS?

it also looks like the bearing race is out further then your other one. 2 or 4 wheel ABS dont matter for the rotors, fwiw

Pooleo I think it looks that way due to the lack of the abs sensor ring.
