Default code p1409

what is the emissions control auxhillary control what can i do to fix this it had the code 1409 in the diagnostics machine can some one please tell me what i have to do to fix the problem thank you

the more info you let us have the better. You need to update your signature and tell us about the truck year etc. does the truck have any other symptoms other than the one code thrown

Some quick googling and it looks like it's a problem with the EGR sensor, try replacing it.

are you thinking the egr pressure feedback sensor? the egr vacuum solenoid? or egr valve position sensor? I would like some more info but those could be the issue........... it could be a vacuum hose issue also..........
