Hello this is my first post. Sorry if it's in the wrong section. I have a 1990 ford ranger 2.9 engine. The piston was missing oil so it bent and beat up the block. Then I bought a 1991 ford ranger with a 3.0 engine and I want to swap the 2.9 for the 3.0. I got everything but the metal plate that goes over the transmission to connect it to like the flywheel and clutch it doesn't fit the bolt pattern. Do I have to order it or have it custom made????? Will the swap even work??? Please help anything helps. Thanks alot and god bless.
