Judging from the type of clamps used, those appear to be Vacuum lines. What ever is leaking is leaking onto the vacuum line. What is above this area?

Get some JB weld and fix it that way.

Do a hot water by-pass mod and get rid of the hoses. You can replace the heater hoses with standard hose without the t's. Then use compressed air and blow out the coolant in the intake and cap off the pipes with rubber vacuum caps. The coolant is used to warm the intake and also help\cause pinging. There are many other 3.0 owners that have done it without any problems. If you need to pass state inspections then get a length of hose and attach to one connector and loop it under a runner on the intake and back to the other connector. CA emissions never noticed the mod on visual inspections.

jb weld that bihhhh
i did it on my f150 with a pipe on rear passenger side of manifold, worked great!
mechanics wanted to replace the manifold with the cheap plastic ones the newer ones used but a high rise aluminum like that not only expensive on those f150s but would never go with the f150 plastics, so i just did it my self and BAM! good as new
saved me a few bucks and painted it while it was out.

so for that ranger i would A-jb weld, B- bypass, or C- my favorite. go to a junkyard and steal a new manifold off a 02 or newer ranger and replace it. here in cape manifolds sell for 40-60 bucks and a newer one is less restrictive on rangers! so better fuel milage and little bit of power
