For the past two weeks there has been a slight tapping sound in the engine. Theres only 67000 miles on it so its not like its been running to the moon and back. One of the guys that races his mustang in out club told me that it could be the rocker arms. He said that it could either be the rockers that need to be tightened or just replaced or it could be the lifters.
Anyone heard of either the lifters or the rockers needing work semi-early on in a 3.0 V6 life? Im thinking that if its the rockers and they are worn down then I may just invest in some Tom Morana rockers to put in while its towrn down anyways, of course that will be at least 6 months until I can even think about affording them.
