I recently tooked my Ranger in for the recall that was issued in 2007 (speed control deactivation switch). After I left the dealership, I stopped at a store. Right after I started the truck it started sputtering like it was going to stall. It didn't stall. As I was driving down the road I stepped on the gas to kick it into overdrive and the truck sounded like it was going to backfire. It made a popping sound and I let off the gas. Never had either problem until recall was done. Can anyone tell me if they have had this problem after the recall? Also, if it is not from the recall then what else could it be from? THANKS!!!!
