Default easy 12v source

i just got me an electric fan and im havin a hard time finding an easy to get to 12v source that's controlled by the ignition any ideas will be a HUGE help

You can tap into your fusebox for the 12v power , but you should use an adjustable electric thermostat to run the fan
I had one on my car before that I could set to turn on when temps reached 190F

yup already got one just lookin for an easy 12v source, are u talkin about the fusebox in the cab or the fuse/relay box in the engine compartment

Why not connect a fused relay to the battery for power?

Have the relay triggered by something that is key switched. The only downside is that whenever your key is in the ON or ACCY position, the fan would be on.

I don't know how much current your fan draws, but for anything over 1 or 2 amps I wouldn't tap into another source... you could easily overload it.

ok well figured out the power issue now i cant figure out how to get the fan off the water pump >_< (epic failing at this)
