Default cold air intake question 2005 3.0

Hi, I want to switch to a lo restriction air filter. I see many of the same parts are available at the autozone for much less.. Looking at the configuration thats currently under the hood leads me to beleve that the modification would not be that simple. Should I just pony up and buy the system made for my truck? Or is there a easier way. How does the box which houses the air filter come out? I see no nuts/bolts. Thanks much. Jeff

Yup... huge waste of money. Spend it on something better. All you will do is suck in hot engine air, defeating the purpose.
