Hey all, Ive been having some serious issues with my truck lately that I just cant seem to figure out. Im a Marine so I took my truck to the base hobby shop due to a rough idle and the check engine light going on and off every few days, and had a diag test ran which resulted in a cylinder 5 misfire. First i changed the plugs which i gapped to .044 and the wires with no change in results. After that the next thing in line was the ignition coil so i replaced that, again with no results. (Keep in mind the check engine light is still going on and off every couple days.) Two days ago I ran seafoam through the oil, gas, and intake system but still runs really rough at idle. Im sure that the number five is still missing while im driving but moving to fast to notice obviously. Can someone please give me some advice on what the problem could be or what to check next? Id appreciate all of your suggestions or comments.

get a multimeter and check for continuity for your fuel injector, get a noid light and see if the computer tells that sparkplug to fire, goodluck!

Thanks. I tried to check that a few days ago but found that I would have to take the intake manifold off the get to the number 5 fuel injector. Just havent had time to pull the intake off yet. When I do I'll post my results.
