If you've begun using a High Mileage oil I would continue to do so. They have additives in the oil to condition the seals which make them expand, if you start using a non HM oil they may shrink again causing leaks.

Just my .02

*I use Valvoline Max Life 5w-20 in my 04 3.0

I use Mobil 1 full synthetic 0w20 or full synthetic Valvoline 5w20. Depending on what I can get at a discount at work at the time since I work for Sears.

What ever you decide to use, Id recommend using a quart of lucus oil treatment in your engine.. It's alittle pricey "around 10.00 bucks at walmart" but it worth every penny!!!!!

Ford recommends Synthetic Blend 5w20 and that's what the dealerships use and what came in the new Rangers so why use anything else ?
