Yeah the reps at ford are almost all the time mentally challenged and dont know shit about the product they are selling, and yes it is a good design thats for sure.

Tell me about it. It's like they're your best friend in the world when you go to buy a Ford, but when the sale is done it's like they've dropped you as a bad habbit. Those sales reps don't know shit from apple butter which is sad in a way. They ought to be more knowledgable in what they're selling which most of the time they aint. They just count their money and say to hell with it.

exactly! I ordered a backing plate for my ranger and gave them all the info they needed and still managed to mess up my order and send me the wrong part. Im so pissed at them right now.

save the money on the cam for a v8 swap. no use in spending money and time on the cam when you're gonna ditch the motor soon.

I intend to keep the motor and use it for something like a T-Bucket where it virtually goes from pushing 3,000+ lbs to maybe a 1,000 lbs if not less. I also intend to use a Ford 9 inch rear end in my ranger and switch the 8.8 inch over to the T-bucket after I get done with the V8 swap. Yep, they'll fuck up a cup of coffee if given the chance. I also noticed something else. They tend to lack passion within our industry and chosen professional careers. I'm a hotrod and Ford man through and through. I've loved this industry since I was a kid. It's my hobby and passion. The clerk I talked to yesterday, seemed like she was a zombie and didn't really care about anything at all. In fact she got pissed, when I asked her to look up some parts for me.
