exactly and exactly lol. This is why I can't bring myself to do it. It's too late. Also I would want new catalytic converters and maybe even a new muffler at this point if I ever did it, that crud can clog exhaust systems on high mileage vehicles that have never had it done.
This is similar to why they say not to flush trannys on high mileage vehicles.
If I had known about this stuff 10 years ago I would have done both on a regular basis.
To save face all I can really do now is pull my upper manifold and clean it by hand
