yes, mastercraft. my local auto parts store sells motorcraft filters and 5 gallon jugs of oil for less than $25.

What about synthetic or non-synthetic? And what autoparts store are you talking about?

If you wanna keep it OE then go with it. Just don't go with FRAM. This is not bashing either. The anti-drain back valves don't seat right, the filter media has holes between the pleats, the by-pass valves stick. They really are a mess.
It's like they make a product that has a high demand to get in on a market niche that has all the design requirements, but those requirements don't do their job.

x2 on fram...ive seen a couple motors replaced in my 3.5 years working at the local yota dealer because of fram filters

That oil is conventional oil with synthetic additives. But the oil doesn't really matter. What matters is that the oil gets changed regularly.

I use Wix. I get them thru work. But I also run Royal Rurple because it actually does idle smoother than previous synthetic oil. It also keeps my running temp down 10-15 degrees than before. But people will have their preferences and brand loyalties.

everyone is gonna say different things about who is best. just like the debate about which all terrain tire is better (or mud terrain). the engine was designed to use a motorcraft/purolator filter.
