Default Need Help Misfire Problems

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger 3.0L Flex Fuel. About a month ago, I noticed that when I would turn the car on in the mornings, it would start fine and then it would start missing and then it would go away and then it would come back and finally go away. Then another morning, i turned the car on and the misfire stayed on. I checked the entire pick up and have changed the egr valve, spark plugs, camshaft sensor, ignition coil and the misfiring continues. I changed the spark plug wires and it continued misfiring. Then i checked the compression and it was fine. I checked the vacuum and it was ok. I checked the fuel pump pressure and it was ok. Then I decided to check the injectors and I noticed that one of them on the #1 bank , it was not flowing like it should. So I changed it. The misfire went away. Now about a month after, the misfire has restarted. I checked everything again step by step and I also checked the fuel injector harness with a multimeter and everything is ok. I even checked each injector with a multimeter and all injectors are fine. One thing that I noticed is that if I unplug the mass flow sensor, or the map sensor, I don't get any check engine light. The truck misses at idle speed and also misses while you are driving. Basically, I checked everything from a-z 2-3 times and its still having the misfiring issue. Can anyone please help?

I am having the same problem with my 99.....just turned 148K and was running fine...shut it off..started it 2 hrs. later and is skipping.
Any luck with finding out what it is?
I was leaning toward an injector but now ?????

I have a 2004 ranger Edge w/3.0 at 110,000 miles. Just bought it last year w/about 100,000miles. Shortly after purchase, I started getting the cylinder misfire codes, multi cylinder misfire code & misfire v1000 revs. I then noticed a plug wires had been changed & previous owner claimed No Knowledge of MIL codes. The codes will not reset/clear for more than 10 miles. Runs fine on open road but in city traffic or sitting idle it will begin to misfire & ck eng light flashes (wanting to stall from stops) Rev eng to 1500 rpm helps eliminate the misfiring. I've heard of the TSB for this problem & that it is a manuf head alignment problem from the build. I'm lookin for money for another engine!
