Default Re: Seafoam Results

Hi guys,

I just wanted to say that I used the sea foam product (thru the master cylinder vacuum hose) and sure enough the engine runs better. I live in Utah and the truck actually will hold speed going up hill now where it wouldn't before. I put the rest in the fuel tank.
...on a side note. I've always used Berryman's chem tool in my fuel tanks about twice a year. Now, after using this sea foam I am now a true believer in the product. Now, for the plugs, wires, coil. cap etc.......

Thank you again for the advice.

Default Re: Seafoam Results

Idk if someone has posted this but I was told by someone that sea foam is great if you use it right. I put what they said to the test. I was told that when you use sea foam do it right before a tune up. So I did. I changed all fluids in the motor, cleaned my air filter, new fuel filter, plugs, wires, ect and I went from 19mpg highway to 24 highway at 80-85 (highway is 90% of my driving). I used sea foam on my truck when I first bought it and didn't change any filters or fluids and only saw about 2 mpg gain. My friends reasoning behind changing all that stuff when you use sea foam is that it release a lot of nasty stuff and your fluids and filters catch it so you won't see as big of a gain in mpg.

I've also heard that sea foam can eat through seals if you let it set for to long or if you use to much of it. Never had any problems with it though.
