Re: Washed engine now missing
the air filter may be wet, remove it and air it out. Same thing happened to me, it felt like my transmission was going to rip itself out.

There is no need to create two separate threads with the same thing. Introduction section is to simply introduce your self.

Re: Washed engine now missing
try taking off your plug wires off the coil and blowing it all out with a compressor or let it dry out. Should work fine after that.

Re: Washed engine now missing
changed plugs and plug wires, but I will take them off the coil and let it dry out. Could have I shorted out the coil?

Re: Washed engine now missing
For once in my life I'm gonna agree with a Decepticon. ;-) Check your air filter, you may have gummed it up with the water.
Maybe the coil shorted but you would be experiencing bigger issues (like, the truck will not be running at all) if you shorted it out. It's worth a look into but I'm not sure that's it. Double check all your wire connections to sensors expecially the ones involved in fuel air mixture (MAF, O2, etc). Make sure they are dry and not burned from a short.
