Default Washed engine now missing

Pressure cleaned 2003 Ford Ranger Edge 3.0 and now have a rough idle and rough acceration. Changed plugs and plug wires but still rough. What else could I have gotten wet and creating a problem. Please help.

the air filter may be wet, remove it and air it out. Same thing happened to me, it felt like my transmission was going to rip itself out.

try taking off your plug wires off the coil and blowing it all out with a compressor or let it dry out. Should work fine after that.

was the engine warm? could a cracked the porcelain on one of the plugs

changed plugs and plug wires, but I will take them off the coil and let it dry out. Could have I shorted out the coil?

For once in my life I'm gonna agree with a Decepticon. ;-) Check your air filter, you may have gummed it up with the water.

Maybe the coil shorted but you would be experiencing bigger issues (like, the truck will not be running at all) if you shorted it out. It's worth a look into but I'm not sure that's it. Double check all your wire connections to sensors expecially the ones involved in fuel air mixture (MAF, O2, etc). Make sure they are dry and not burned from a short.

also check your vacum lines you could of split one open with the pressure washer
