Default Intermittent Power Loss and rough idle

My 2007 3.0 litre (115000km) was running quite rough and throwing a 301 error. The dealer replaced the coil (they said it was cracked-I have the old coil and I sure can't see a crack), anyway replacing the coil of course did nothing.
Injector 1 was swapped with number 2 and the error followed the injector and became 302. So I replaced the injector. Error code has not returned, but on the highway I still experience small -hesitations- in the engine. Nothing like it was before I replaced the injector but enough to tell its happening. No error codes, I am wondering about fuel pressure....does this sound right? Can I rig a fuel pressure gauge to stay on for a test drive and have is come out just in front of the windshield so I can watch it during a test drive? Is this safe to do?
