Default intake on a 1999 ranger

whats the cheapest way to put an intake on my 1999 ranger what would i need??

Ya you can use it

It will keep the heat down since it is not metal most manufactors use a plastic pipe for their kits

You could also just add a cone filter to your existing intake and it would be the same thing
