High rev when a/c has been on for a while?
Iv'e noticed lately that when im driving and my a/c has been on for a while that my truck revs up when i push the clutch in to change gears or when i put it in neutral it will rev up. It goes up to about 2,5k for about 3 seconds, then it will drop back down to normal idle. It only does this when the a/c is on, and as soon as i turn the a/c off it stops. It doesnt do it when i just turn my a/c on, but after it has been on for a while. Has anyone else ever experienced this or knows what i should do or check?

EGR valve, test= pull the line off and block the line.. drive, see if it stops..

Thanks man, ill have to try that, and if it does, does this mean that the valve is bad/

mine surged, so I blocked my line, with a BB (yes like bb gun)... and pressed the line back on the EGR this is an old ford trick, bb is to large to get sucked into engine and fall into EGR... just test it first cause you wnt be able to get the bb out of the line... its a tight fit
